AM I THE COACH FOR YOU?

You’re here! That means you’ve been thinking about getting some kind of online coaching either for your fitness or your nutrition (or both).

But it’s so difficult to know who to work with – after all, coaching will be a relationship that becomes part of your daily life.

Let me tell you more about myself so you can decide if I’m right for you.

That’s me in the photo with Fraser, my labrador. I have another lab, Bobby and I’ve also got two cats (and a son and husband… they should get a mention too!) I’m Manchester born and bred and love 90s music, weightlifting, animals, and outdoor adventures.

I’VE STRUGGLED WITH BODY IMAGE TOO

Fitness professionals aren’t immune to it. After my son was born in 2010, I developed an eating disorder whilst trying to “lose the baby weight” and was treated as an NHS outpatient for 6 months with intensive CBT and compassion-based therapy.

There is so much confusion and societal expectation around fitness, food, and how we look. It drives me mad! My mission is to help women break free from yo-yo dieting and miserable fads, to be empowered about their own bodies.

That’s why my coaching services are a place where women can learn to enjoy healthy eating and exercise. Have fun and relax. I promise no judgement, no cliques, no pressure or need to ever apologise for anything!

I’LL EMPOWER YOU WITH KNOWLEDGE

I’ve been in the fitness industry since 2001, and started my online coaching business in 2014. In that time I’ve seen plenty of trends come and go – but I’m still here, helping people improve their lives through tried-and-tested real life methods.

For several years I also worked in the NHS Health Improvement Services (alongside my fitness work) where I helped patients who wanted to change their health behaviours.

I absolutely love to learn and I’ve got a load of extra qualifications beyond my First Class degree in Exercise, Physical Activity and Health Science. Education is the foundation of my coaching style and I aim to pass on as much information to you as possible.

I’m a huge believer in self-compassion, kindness, and freedom around food and fitness. My coaching is evidence-based and real life. No fad diets, no BS, and no miracle quick fixes.
