How does Online Fitness & Nutrition Coaching work?
It’s like having a Personal Trainer and healthy eating coach, except we don’t meet up for your training sessions. This means you can have me as your coach wherever you live. Everything is sent to you online, and we have regular “real life” catch ups via phone or video call.
How does Online Nutrition Coaching work?
This is not a diet plan or a calorie counting regime. My online nutrition coaching is about education and support so you learn how to choose the best foods whatever life throws at you. You can definitely expect visible results to your size and shape, but you will also gain a valuable education which will help you banish yo-yo dieting.
Is the coaching completely bespoke?
Yes. I promise you’ll never get a copy & paste plan from me. I work closely with you to understand your lifestyle, home situation, goals, previous experiences, and likes/dislikes so your training or eating plan is personal to you.
Who is your Online Coaching for?
My online fitness and nutrition coaching plans are for anyone – and will work if you follow the advice and embrace the changes. The beauty of personalised 1-2-1 coaching is that it’s all about you. You don’t have to fit in with anyone else. Your plan will be built for you, your lifestyle and every unique aspect of your situation.
How do I choose which coaching to do?
I offer two coaching packages. Online Fitness & Nutrition Coaching is fitness and workout plans and nutrition guidance (with check ins, guidance, and resources to keep you on track). Online Nutrition Coaching is nutrition-only, no workout plans.
What can I expect by way of results?
This depends on your starting point and goal. But I can promise that you will feel healthier and more confident and in control. If you want to lose weight, we will work on that. If you want to get strong or shape up, that will be our focus. This is true coaching – led by you, guided by me. Some of my clients report seeing changes within a few days. All of them report feeling great from the moment we start!

I’ve tried gyms and diet plans etc before, why will this work when they didn’t?
Going to the gym or doing a diet needs a huge amount of motivation for a long time. We are only human, which is why most people “fall off the wagon”, run out of steam, or let life get in the way. The great thing about online coaching is the personal attention and accountability. I will empower you with plans, education, and guidance. And I’ll be with you every step of the way. Do I need to go to a gym?
Not unless you want to. My Online Fitness Coaching plans are personal to you. I will write your plan for gym or home workouts – and for whatever equipment you’ve got access to. Even if that’s just your own bodyweight. We will make it work!
How do I contact you during coaching?
Both my online fitness coaching and online nutrition coaching include regular check ins and catch ups. You can choose how we do this – text/WhatsApp, email, or video call/messages.
Do I need to be technically minded to do online coaching?
Not at all (I wouldn’t call myself a tech whizz!) We will develop a plan that works for you, and this includes methods of contact. I have clients who use email and Facebook and it all works fine. I use Google Drive and Google Sheets to share information with you. These are very simple to use and I will show you if you’re unsure.
I’m really unfit and haven’t exercised for ages (if ever), will I be ok?
Absolutely! Many of my current clients had never done any exercise before – we all start somewhere! My 1:1 Online Fitness Coaching programme is fully tailored to you, and takes your fitness and experience levels into account.
I have an injury, can you coach me?
This will depend on the nature of your injury. There are always ways to adapt exercises and many of my clients find they can continue with their Online Coaching programme despite having an injury. However, I strongly recommend you speak with your GP or a physiotherapist before increasing the level of physical activity you are currently doing.
I am overweight, will I be ok?
You are not alone – the majority of the people who start working with me want to lose weight. You’ll find that starting Online Coaching with me is a brilliant way to help you become a healthier weight (with all the body confidence that comes with it). If you are medically obese you should check with your GP before making changes to the level of physical activity you are currently doing.
Will I need to buy any gym equipment?
You might find it useful to get some dumbbells, a kettlebell, and a resistance band. But you won’t need to buy it straight away! I’ll tailor your online fitness plan to what you’ve got (even if that’s nothing) so you can get started. You can pick gym equipment up fairly cheaply from eBay and Facebook marketplace.
I’ve never used weights before, I’m a bit worried about that.
Please don’t worry – you’re in very good hands! I specialise in weight training, and absolutely love showing people how to use weights to change their body shape. Lots of my ladies had never picked up a dumbbell before working with me, and now they love the strength and confidence they get from lifting weights.
I’ll make sure you use safe, correct, and effective form. You can send me videos of your technique, and I will send you video demos for all the exercises on your plan.
What qualifications do you have?
I’ve worked in the fitness industry since 2001. I have a First Class Degree: BSc (Hons) Exercise, Physical Activity & Health Science from The University of Salford. I’m an MNU Certified Nutritionist (Pass with Distinction), a Level 3 Personal Trainer, and hold a Level 3 Qualification in Pre & Post Natal Program Design.
I’ve also got lots of other fitness industry and health qualifications (I love to learn!) I’m fully insured to offer Nutrition Therapy, Personal Training, Health & Lifestyle Training, Weight Loss Counselling, Weight Management and Wellbeing Guidance.
